The United Church of Christ seeks "to be a church that is multiracial, multicultural, open and affirming, accessible to all" and "no matter where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here."The United Church of Christ has developed several programs that churches can use to reach the goal of becoming an inclusive church. First Church has begun the Open and Affirming Process.
