About Sierra Leone
Previous years have been filled with excitement about the newly built Hope Day School (funded by First Church) in Freetown, Sierra Leone. We have welcomed visitors from Sierra Leone here, and church members visited the school to celebrate its opening in 2006.
Now the Sierra Leone Ministry Team is looking to the continued vitality of the school. Members of the Hope Circle are providing funding to Hope Day School for augmenting teachers' salaries, student scholarships and other important needs.
