Wedding and Reception – Meetinghouse & Amistad Hall
Based on an 8-hour booking. Includes the Meetinghouse for the ceremony, and use of Amistad Hall for the reception, to include the Porter Memorial, Library, Welcome Hall and kitchen. This rate is inclusive of 2 hours set-up time. From 10 pm–midnight the rate is $100/hour. Please note that both a wedding and a reception sexton are required (additional fees - see below).

Reception/Event – Amistad Hall

  • Porter Memorial Hall has 20 60” round tables and 170 ivory/gold banquet chairs that may be used at no additional cost.
  • Table linens, dinnerware, flatware and glassware are not provided.
  • Tents require prior permission of the Church and, if over 900 square feet, require a Town of Farmington permit.
  • Alcoholic beverages are allowed to be brought in but a Certificate of Insurance is required from the caterer or renter citing a minimum of $1,000,000 liability coverage, naming First Church of Christ as additional insured.
  • AV equipment is not available for rental. Screen and cart only are available.
